Nitish Kumar is currently making constant appearances in the national media. It is because of the upcoming Assembly election where he is directly challenging Narendra Modi. This is not the first time when he has challenged Modi. His previous attempt was a dismal failure during the last Lok Sabha election. However, this time the situation is little bit different. He has allied with Lalu Prasad Yadav and Congress party and hoping to stop the Modi juggernaut.
Nitish Kumar is a widower, as you might know. He has only one son named Nishant Kumar, a media shy married man who is an alumnus of the prestigious BIT Mesra.
Profile of Nishant Kumar
It is quite surprising that the son of Nitish Kumar isn’t covered by the media. You will hardly find any news item related to him. Unlike other regional politicians like Lalu Yadav and Mulayam Singh Yadav, Nitish’ son has least interest in the politics, at least as of now.
It is quite surprising, indeed. The man can easily become an MP from Nalanda. No one is going to stop him. Lalu Yadav is promoting his two sons, who have far less educational qualification than Nishant Kumar.
We must credit Nitish Kumar for not promoting his son in this age of dynastic politics.
But, there is also another story behind all this political issues.
It is said that Nishant Kumar isn’t happy with his father. He was close to his mother Manju Sinha, a school teacher. The reason, it is alleged, is none other than Lalan Singh. People of Harnaut says that when Lalan Singh had parted ways with Nitish Kumar two years back, Nishant started to stay in the Chief Ministerial bungalow and was in fact taking keen interest in administrative affairs of the state.
Some of decisions of Nishant Kumar made sure that corruption at the political level can be checked.
However, Nitish again came close to Lalan Singh and Nishant became angry.
