BPSC Prelims 2016: Expected Cut Off and Result

The 60th – 62nd BPSC Prelims examination was organized on 12th February in various centres across Bihar. The Commission had shocked candidates with a different question format. They come out with a nice, but controversial, formula to obstruct court cases by inducting one more option. All questions had a fifth option declaring none of the above option is correct or more than one is correct. Obviously, this has also confused aspirants as there was now no point of going for the best possible guess.

However, there are other stuffs also which need to be considered while thinking about cut offs. The first one is number of candidates going to be selected. The BPSC has clearly mentioned in the notification that they will select around 10 times candidate. Since, they are yet to release previous Mains result; hence they may select around 11 – 12 times candidates. Further, there will also be reservation for women which may have big impact on cut off.

Expected Cut OFF of BPSC Prelims

Keeping everything in mind, let us come to a conclusion. In 2015, this place had predicted cut off for BPSC as 87 – 88, which turned out to be true. We hope to repeat our performance again.

First, let us keep off two main factors aside – women reservation and number of seats – and try to see what might have been cut off with five options. Ask any expert, and you may find the same answer – the cut off would have been 75 – 77 for General and subsequently lower for other category.

Now, the other important thing is number of candidates. This time it is far much less than what was in 2015. Only 2.68 lakhs application was received and around 60 % appeared in the examination. It means this time the number of candidates appeared in the Prelims is around 1 lakh less than what was in 2015.

There is another important point which everyone is missing. MPPSC did a sort of coupe to keep off Bihari students out. MPPSC exam was scheduled to be held on 10th February. All of a sudden, they postponed it on 12th February. True, candidates from MP seldom come to Bihar for State PCS. However, the factor of UP candidates will come into picture. It is believed that around 70 % of UP candidates who had filled the form for BPSC didn’t come because of this MPPSC factor – particularly young candidates (the age in MPPSC for outside candidates). It will also have an impact on the overall cut off.

And, there is also no denying that even with four options, the question level of this year was tough than what was there in 2015.

Keeping all these facts in mind, we have come out with cut off which should also be close to the final cut off that you will see in the result.

For General (Male): 82 – 84 (Many can accuse us of predicting such a low cut off in spite of only 10 times results and women reservation, but it is the case folk!)
we have mentioned the reason above, why the cut off will be low.

The cut off for other category will be lower in the same range at it was in 2015 BPSC Prelims.

One more thing, we are unable to write anything about cut off for female aspirants. It is really tough and we don’t have any history to have any idea.

Anjana Om Kashyap: Profile, Family, Husband, Caste and Salary

Anjana Om Kashyap is the reigning queen of Hindi News television space in India. She along with Sweta Singh is credited with the stupendous success of Aaj Tak. Sometimes she is labelled as an AAPtard, sometimes a BJP paid media personality and other times as a Congress stooge in the media. These labelling only shows that more or less she has remained neutral and take stand according to the subjects, not as per any ideologies or personalities.

Anjana is better known for her hard hitting debate shows, currently Hulla Bol at Aaj Tak and previously Do Tuk at News 24. She has also enjoyed reporting from the ground and her appearance in Raj Tilak – on ground election program of Aaj Tak – is quite a success.

Mukhar Abbas Naqvi and Ashok Singhal Relationship

Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi is Minister of State for Minority Affairs to the Government of India. He is a prominent BJP politician and widely regarded as the Muslim face of the party. However, the dirty IT departments of Congress and AAP are sharing news over the social media about relationship between Naqvi and late Ashok Singhal. They are saying that Naqvi is the Son-in-Law of Ashok Singhal.

That being the Son-in-Law of a powerful VHP leader may not be a problem. But, through this fact they want to say that Naqvi is associated with the BJP because of his marital relationship, not because of his ideology of nationalism and belief in the Idea of India.

Is Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi Son-in-Law of Ashok Singhal?
The short answer to this question is NO. There is no relationship between Naqvi and late Ashok Singhvi.

As a matter of fact, Ashok Singhal remained unmarried till his last breath. While pursuing Engineering from the prestigious BHU, he came in contact with the RSS. He became a pracharak and took …

Nishant, Son of Nitish Kumar: Profile

Nitish Kumar is currently making constant appearances in the national media. It is because of the upcoming Assembly election where he is directly challenging Narendra Modi. This is not the first time when he has challenged Modi. His previous attempt was a dismal failure during the last Lok Sabha election. However, this time the situation is little bit different. He has allied with Lalu Prasad Yadav and Congress party and hoping to stop the Modi juggernaut.

This article is about the son of Nitish Kumar.

Nitish Kumar is a widower, as you might know. He has only one son named Nishant Kumar, a media shy married man who is an alumnus of the prestigious BIT Mesra.

Profile of Nishant Kumar

It is quite surprising that the son of Nitish Kumar isn’t covered by the media. You will hardly find any news item related to him. Unlike other regional politicians like Lalu Yadav and Mulayam Singh Yadav, Nitish’ son has least interest in the politics, at least as of now.

It is quite surprising, indeed. The ma…

Manu Maharaj, IPS: Profile and Family

Some call him Dabangg, others have respectfully given him the royal name of Singham. I am talking about Bihar cadre dare devil IPS officer Manu Maharaj. These nomenclatures are attached with him not just on flimsy ground. He is really the real life Dabangg or Singham, whatever you might say. It should also be mentioned here that Manu Maharaj started to keep Singham style moustache only after seeing Ajay Devgn in Singham movie.

Profile of Manu Maharaj
Manu Maharaj is basically from Himachal Pradesh. After completing his schooling education from Shimla, he joined IIT Roorkey for B. Tech. He was offered a plum job, but decided to not go for corporate sector. Rather, he started preparation for UPSC Civil Services Examination. At the same time, he enrolled with the Environmental Science course at JNU, Delhi.

He cracked UPSC CSE in 2005. You will be surprised to know that his first choice was IPS, not IAS. He wanted to become an IPS officer, and as we all know, he got success in materializing …
