Rohini Sindhuri is a 2009 IAS officer of Karnataka Cadre. She is known for her honesty, ethical administration and endeavor to always find innovative ways to ensure proper implementation of Government policies and programs at the grass root levels. Being an honest officer, she has always been a thorn in the eyes of politicians. She is a fighter. When Siddaramaiah Government transferred her out of Hasan, she fought valiantly. It created a big controversy as people accused the government of pressurizing an honest officer to the extent that he terminated his life. In reality, Ravi had committed suicide because of the rejection by Ms. Rohini.

1. Rohini was appreciated for taking stern action against insanely corrupt Congress politician A. Manju. She went to the extent of locking down the office of this minister. She had also reported Election Commission for breaching of the model code of conduct by Mr. Manju. In turn, the corrupt Manju also complained to the EC.

2. Rohini has again been transferred. This time under the influence of a BJP MP. She has been shunted out of Karnataka Building and Construction Worker's Welfare Board (KBCWW). She had brought watershed changes in the policy decisions at KBCWW.
