Nidhi Nivedita is a 2012 batch IAS officer of Madhya Pradesh cadre. In a short span of time, she has made people notice her unique modus operandi. Known as a no – nonsense and tough officer, Nidhi has a simple approach of zero tolerance against corruption and inefficiency. One of her videos had become viral where she was seen punishing a Panchayat Secretary in public at Singaraulli. On many occasions, she has been seen taking on politicians without fearing for repercussions.

Educational Qualification: Nidhi was born on 3^rd October, 1986 in Bihar. Her family later shifted to Ranchi, Jharkhand. She completed her schooling from Ranchi. The name of her school was DAV Kapil Dev, near Kadru Mod Ranchi. This is among top three schools of Ranchi; the other two are JVM Shyamali – Dhoni’s school and DPS Ranchi.

After completing her education, Nidhi took admission in Delhi University and did B. A – History. While pursuing graduation, she started preparation for Civil Services. She took admission in a coaching institute in Mukherjee Nagar. Her determination coupled with sheer dedication showed result when she cracked UPSC Civil Services Examination, 2011. Awards and News: Nidhi was recently in news for being involved in a sordid event on the road. BJP had planned a pro CAA rally in Rajgarh. Nidhi had imposed 144 to stop the rally. However, the BJP went ahead with the plan. She had to come on the road to stop the rally. Unfortunately, she thrashed a BJP worker who was just shouting slogans, without doing anything violent. This unruly behavior by a distinguished IAS officer is quite sickening. It is alleged that she was pressurized by the Kamal Nath Government to stop pro CAA rally.
