Isheta Salgaonkar may seem to be just a mundane name. The surname doesn’t attract attention. However, Isheta is more than just being a member of Salgaonkar family. She is the granddaughter of late Dhiru Bhai Ambani. Her maternal uncles are among the richest persons of India – Mukesh and Anil Ambani. When Reliance was being partitioned, Isheta’s parents also got 10 % of share and hence they are also quite rich.

Isheta’s husband is the younger brother of once Diamond King and now a fraud Nirav Modi. His name is Neeshal. It is a love cum arrange marriage. It is said that Neeshal had proposed Isheta in a resort in Europe. Before that, they were close friends. Nirav Modi is the kingpin of multi million banking fraud of Punjab National Bank. Her husband Neeshal is also named in this FIR. He is a Belgian citizen and currently absconding.
