Pratima Singh is a talented basketball player. She is currently a member of Indian Women National Basketball Team. She is known for her strong defending skills on the court apart from her ability to jump high. Pratima Singh was born on 6^th February, 1990 in Varanasi. She did her initial schooling from Varanasi and later shifted to Delhi with her family. It was natural for her to show interest in the Basketball as three of her elder sisters were already creating ripples across the country with their skills on the Basketball court.

Pratima stole the lime light while studying in the Delhi University. She played brilliantly in the Inter-University tournament and in no time started to be considered a worthy member of the national team where four of her sisters were already playing.
