Sangita Reddy is
one of the most respected persons in India in the field of medical care.
Groomed by his father, the visionary Dr. Pratap Reddy, She has done wonderful
job in the last three decades at the helm of affairs. She is credited with
converting Apollo Hospitals among the best not only in terms of medical care,
but also in terms of providing impeccable patient centric operations.
Profile of Sangita Reddy
Sangita was born
in 1963 in Hyderabad. Her father Dr. Pratap Reddy was a visionary medical
professional and looking forward to change the healthcare landscape in India.
Sangita has always been a brilliant girl. It should be noted that Sangita has
three more sisters and all of these four women are behind the miraculous
success of Apollo Hospitals – which has now more than 10, 000 beds with more
than 150 hospitals spread across India and some other countries.
Sangita took
active participation in the launching of the first hospital in Chennai in 1983.
Interestingly, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalitha is being treated here
and it is Sangita who is ensuring that the best possible treatment is given to
her.
Apart from
Apollo Hospital, Sangita also takes deep interest in education sector and has
launched many projects for the same. She is also behind the successful
implementation of Apollo Pharmacy project which has now become the most
respectable organized chain of medical stores in India.
Husband of Sangita Reddy
Sangita Reddy is
married to Konda Vishweshwar Reddy.
Mr. Konda
Vishweshwar Reddy is currently the Lok Sabha MP from Chevalla Constituency. It
should be noted that he is the richest MP from Telangana. In the election
affidavit, he had declared assets worth Rs. 528 Crores. He was a successful
software entrepreneur who had many patents under his name. He belongs to one of
the most respected families of Telangana and, in fact, Ranga Reddy district is
named after his grandfather. His father was a Judge.
Sangita and
Konda Vishweshwar Reddy has three sons – Anindith, Vishwajith and Viraj.
