Amit Khare, IAS: Profile, Wife, Family, Education and Caste

Amit Khare is a 1985 batch IAS officer of Jharkhand cadre. He is widely regarded as one of the most honest officers of the contemporary times. He has impeccable track records. However, what makes him immoral is his exposure of the fodder scam. Lalu Prasad Yadav along with many other powerful politicians and businessmen are languishing in jail thanks to this honest officer.

Amit was hounded when he exposed the Fodder Scam while being the DM of Chaibasa in 1996. He was transferred to Bihar Leather Corporation where he had to wait for months to get salary. He was never made a DM. When Bihar was bifurcated, he requested for Jharkhand which was granted. Had he not opted for Jharkhand, he would have been killed by corrupt Bihari mafias.

Amit was recently appointed as the Secretary to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. He is also in the race of becoming the Chief Secretary of Jharkhand.
