Pratima Singh was born on 6^th February, 1990 in Varanasi. She did her initial schooling from Varanasi and later shifted to Delhi with her family. Pratima stole the lime light while studying in the Delhi University. She played brilliantly in the Inter-University tournament and in no time started to be considered a worthy member of the national team where four of her sisters were already playing.
